About self-aligning ball bearings

Self-aligning ball bearings have two rows of ball with a common sphered raceway in the outer ring. This allow angular misalignment of the shaft relative to the housing, giving the bearing their Self-aligning feature.

Supplied with polyamide or steel cages, in sealed or unsealed types.

Bearings with the suffix “E” are able to take a higher load. If even higher loads are required, please check for Self-aligning Roller bearings.

Self-aligning ball bearings are available with Cylindrical bore or Tapered bore.

Self-aligning ball bearings with Extended inner rings are used in applications employing commercial ground shafting. The special bore tolerance of these bearings allows easy mounting and dismounting.
