Further information about caps & covers (Rail caps, Bellows covers etc.)

Caps can be used on Linear rail to cover the mounting holes and help keep contaminants from reaching the balls or rollers in the carriages. These are normally supplied made of plastic, but can also be supplied in Steel or Brass, depending on the Manufacturer of the rail.

Mounting tools can be supplied to help with the fitting of the plugs.

Linear Cover strip in sliding or snap fit is available to keep the rail free of material which might contaminate the unit. These can be held in place by use of Clamps or Protective end caps.

Cover strip mounting tools can be supplied to aid fitting of the Strip.
